Rate: £240 – 260p/shift Ltd (Negotiable depending on Experience)
Duration: 26 Weeks + (Potential 3 Year Contract)
Location: Milton Keynes, Northampton, Bedford, Leicester, Rugby, Coventry, Cambridge, Peterborough

Our Prestigious Automotive OEM manufacturing client currently requires a number of Manufacturing Engineers who will be involved in rapid design to manufacture process for engine and drive train related products. They are World Leaders in their field and searching for Passionate, Self Motivated candidates to work on a long term project within their First Class Manufacturing Environment.

As the Manufacturing Engineer you will plan, design, set up, modify, optimise and monitor a manufacturing process. Working to produce high quality goods efficiently in the most cost effective methods and are conscious of the environment and its protection.

As the successful candidate you will be Degree/HNC (or similar) qualified with a proven track record gained within R&D type activities coupled with a thorough knowledge of rapid change environments within a high value / low volume manufacturing environment. You will also need a high level of CNC programming competency and a demonstrated capability to work in team or independently with successful, achievable results.

Candidates Must Have: -

• Working experience of Catia V5
• CNC Programming is considered essential
• Experience of CNC Machining in a Precision Machining Environment
• CNC Programming Experience using either Heidenhain or Fanuc
• Strong communicator
• Strong Problem Solver – to develop new ideas / concepts for ongoing issues
• HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or Similar

Desirable: -

• Knowledge of Openmind / Hypermill software
• Knowledge of Vericut simulation Software
• MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering or Similar

Manufacturing Engineers with a background of Automotive or Aerospace Industry Experience would suit this environment and their experience would be ideal.
