The key responsibility of the CFD Aerodynamicist is to work in close collaboration with wind tunnel Aerodynamicists to find performance for the race car. The CFD Aerodynamicist will be involved in the entire design process, from scheming parts to mesh generation, computing CFD models and analysis of results. Candidates should possess a strong aeronautical degree. Previous CFD experience, ideally in a similar role in F1, would be advantageous.

In addition, the successful candidate should have:

A proven track record with commercial CFD codes
A comprehensive understanding of aerodynamic and CFD theories

A previous track record in CFD methods aimed at improving correlation or increasing efficiency of the process would be looked upon favourably, but is not essential.

We offer a competitive package including bonus, life assurance, private medical cover, Mercedes company car scheme, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), on-site gym and subsidised restaurant facilities.
